Cooling down

It's mid-December, and the weather has started to dry up and cool down quite well. We had a bit of rain here and there last week, but now it's (hopefully) proper dry and cool and the temperature measured 19°C this morning. I wasn't able to catch it at its peak low, but by the time I came downstairs to open the windows and let the gentle breeze in, it was about 22-23°C.

Air quality wasn't so great though, I was able to see a visible foggish haze outside, and it smelled like... burning, which unfortunately is not exactly uncommon; there are still quite a few street food stalls around the area grilling their food using charcoal. During other seasons this presented less of an issue, as the higher level of moisture in the air is able to limit how much the smoke is able to freely float and spread around. As the air is now much drier in the cold season though, the smoke is more able to freely spread out around the area, and with the help of the breeze, it's able to spread out much further.

Despite that, I still happily welcome the refreshingly chilly breeze and the cold ambience, and I hope that we'll get more than a week or two of it this year.
